It's My Boyfriend's

Influenced by similar fashion trends the boyfriend jeans and the boyfriend shirt, the boyfriend blazer is quickly gaining popularity slowly, but surely. This new addition to the boyfriend family has found a new kind of sophistication that will definitely be kept around for this year and years to come. I've been on the lookout for this new desire of mine as buying it online via ASOS just won't do. I've been told that scouring thrift shops and the local vintage stores is the way to do it if i want a truly unique boyfriend blazer, and that's exactly what i'm going to do.

There are two simple rules to wearing the boyfriend blazer:
1. make it oversized as a fitted blazer defeats the whole purpose of it being "your boyfriends".
2. roll up the sleeves to expose the wrists to get that feminine look
This look has been featured among many SS 2010 catwalks such as Araks, Charlotte Ronson, Cynthia Rowley and Boy by Band of Outsiders and i seriously can't wait to go hunting for one of my own.
